IP Management Framework Updated

Deposit Key System and Batch Protocols Introduced 15 February 2026

BODY: On 15 February 2026, NORFIAD adopted version 2 of its Intellectual Property Management SOP, superseding the original framework established in October 2025. The update introduces the Deposit Key system for secure IP identification, a formal batch submission protocol, PGP/GPG encryption options for sensitive submissions, and provisions for physical deposit of materials requiring offline protection. These additions reflect the organisation's growing IP workload and establish a more robust infrastructure for handling submissions at scale. The updated SOP entered the Document Register as NORFIAD-SOP-IP-002 with full cryptographic verification.
